Two Fights With Fight of the Night Potential at Titan FC 78
This Friday night, Titan FC returns to its second home of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic to host Titan FC 78 live from the Pabellon De Esgrima Centro Olimpico. In a card filled with prolific veterans, top Caribbean prospects and multiple title bouts, expect many if not all of these bouts to be bangers. When the likes of Alex Nicholson, Jhonasky Sojo, Devon Dixon and Ty Johnson are on the same card, expect fireworks. However, these two bouts are not only fight of the night candidates, but also seem to be flying a bit under the radar.
Alex Nicholson Has His Sights Set on a Second Titan FC Belt at Titan FC 78
Alex “The Spartan” Nicholson makes his second walk to the Titan FC cage on July 29th at Titan FC 78.
After claiming the Titan FC heavyweight kickboxing title at Titan FC 75 in April, he will meet a familiar face in Oscar Sosa, for Titan FC’s vacant MMA heavyweight strap. Nicholson has fought some of the sport's toughest competition in a couple of the most prolific organizations. The UFC and PFL veteran has earned finishes over former UFC heavyweight champion, Ricco Rodriguez and current members of the UFC roster; Chase Sherman, Devin Clark and Chris Barnett. Nicholson has won all 14 of his pro MMA bouts by finish, including 12 by knockout.
Titan FC 77 Preview
Titan FC returns to the National Guard Armory in Miramar, Florida to host Titan FC 77 on June 3rd. In a card consisting of UFC veterans, notable heavyweights and top prospects, fight fans are in for a treat. The card is home to five pro MMA bouts and will be broadcasted live on UFC Fight Pass. Expect fireworks as some of Florida’s most notable names showcase their skills on a global scale.
Sal Guerriero Looks to Add to his Tenured Win Streak at Titan FC 77
Sal Guerriero (5-1) makes his sixth walk to the Titan FC cage at Titan FC 77 on June 3rd in hopes of another dominant victory. The 26-year-old South Floridian is a household name in the Titan FC community spending just about his entire pro career in the promotion. As a pro, Guerriero has scored four of his five wins by way of finish, three of which via knockout. He holds three first-round finishes in his pro career including back-to-back first-round TKO’s in his last two bouts. Guerriero returns to action on Friday night not only riding a four-fight win streak, but also four straight finishes. It’s clear he’s good at what he does for a living and he feeds off the energy of the people that support him. He elaborated on his reasoning behind fighting and how his friend’s and family’s support makes him go the extra mile.

Titan FC returns home to South Florida this Friday night to host Titan FC 76 at the National Guard Armory in Miramar, Florida. In a card filled with highly touted prospects, veterans of major organizations and local notable names, expect fireworks throughout the card’s entirety. A couple highlighted bouts include a clash of styles between Rami Hamed (10-3 1NC) and Jimi Diaz Zuleta (2-0) as well as the return of Richie Lewis (2-0) as he takes on Kelvin Bowen (1-0-1). In the headliner, UFC veteran, Luis Pena (9-3) squares off with former Bellator competitor, Zach Zane (15-11).
Rami Hamed Looks to Display a Mixed Martial Arts Masterpiece at Titan FC 76
Rami Hamed makes his long awaited return to the cage at Titan FC 76. The 31-year-old is finally fully healthy after nearly a year long layoff caused by LCL and meniscus injuries which required surgery. This was the second knee surgery of his pro career. Throughout the recovery process, he remained positive and diligent during rehab and physical therapy. Now, back at full health, Hamed feels like the process has benefitted him mentally.
Luis Pena is Focused on the Future Ahead of his Return at Titan FC 76
his Friday night, eight-fight UFC veteran and TUF 27 contestant, Luis Pena (9-3), makes his return to the cage in the main event at Titan FC 76. Pena is a 22-fight veteran of pro and amateur MMA who was born in Italy and raised in Arkansas. The state champion wrestler got off to a hot start in 2014 as he kicked off his amateur career. After making the move to go pro and scoring dominant finishes in his first four bouts, he came across a flier for TUF 27 tryouts while cutting weight for a boxing fight. The flier came as a sign for him to take the next step in his MMA career and make the extended trip to Las Vegas.
Richie Lewis Seeks Another Dominant Performance in his Return at Titan FC 76
On Friday May 6th, Titan FC fan favorite, Richie Lewis (2-0), returns to action for the first time in 2022 at Titan FC 76.If you know Lewis, his accolades of being the U23 world champion in freestyle wrestling for team USA and a two-time NCAA qualifier, won’t come as a surprise. It’s no secret he can grapple with the best of the best however, the 27-year-old has shown he can do it all as a mixed martial artist in his two pro bouts. After a dominant performance in his pro debut at Titan FC 68, he returned at Titan FC 71 to do the same except this time earn his first career finish.
Titan FC 74 Recap
Titan FC 74 brought fireworks and early finishes in an eventful Friday night in downtown Miami, Florida.
In a total of seven bouts, five ended before the four-minute mark in the very first round. Some notable performances included a nine-second knockout courtesy of Makoa Cooper (1-0), a Uly Diaz (2-0) submission victory and an absolute war between Adrian Garcia (7-1) and Gaston Manzur (11-8). After quite a few changes to the card last minute, the night turned out to be filled with high level action and flashy finishes.

In a card filled with high level MMA talent, tenured martial arts veterans and some of the world's top prospects, MMA fans are in for a treat come March 4th. Some featured names include top bantamweight prospects, Ryan Kuse (5-0) and Anvar Boynazarov (3-0), world class wrestler, Richie Lewis (2-0), and the always entertaining, Roy Echeverria (7-0). Also on the card, six-time IBJJF champion, Talita Alencar (1-0), four-time Titan FC veteran, Adrian Garcia (6-1), Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, Gaston Mazur (11-7) and WSOF veteran, Soslan Abanokov (6-4-1).
Gus Villamil is Back and Better for Titan FC 74
Miami’s own, Gus Villamil, makes his long awaited return to the Titan FC cage this Friday at Titan FC 74.
The Goat Shed member is known for his ability to finish fights in exciting fashion. He’s secured all three of his pro wins by rear-naked choke, two of which within the two-and-a-half-minute mark of the first round. Although 2021 wasn’t Villamil’s best year yet, he feels like he’s in a better place, mentally and physically, and will prove the doubters wrong come fight night. “Fighting defines me and brings out the best in me,” he explained. “Physically my cardio is 150% better and mentally I’m in a much better place.”
Landon Quinones Seeks Gold in His Return to the Cage at Titan FC 74
On February 18th, a household name in the Titan FC community, Landon Quinones (5-1-1), returns to action at Titan FC 74. The 26-year-old is set for his seventh walk to the Titan FC cage after the most tenured layoff of his martial arts career. Following his convincing victory over Geralbert Castillo at Titan FC 61 in June of 2020, Quinones was scheduled to appear on Dana White's Contender Series in late 2020. However, the week of the fight he contracted COVID-19 and was forced out of the bout.
